SKIN REJUVENATION - IPL

A popular choice for skin rejuvenation. Not only is it indicated for collagen remodelling but also to alleviate both vascular and pigmented issues, restoring the skin to a more youthful appearance. It has proven to be particularly effective for treating age spots, freckles, acne and rosacea.

MICRONEEDLING

Micro-needling is a safe, chemical-free and minimal invasive technique for stimulating collagen production. Collagen and elastin give skin its texture, structure and appearance. But as we age, these compounds break down from sun and environmental damage that causes dry skin leading to wrinkles. Micro-needling is a mechanical method for reversing this breakdown.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

The IPL hair removal adopts the photo-thermal therapy and it can be selectively absorbed by the target while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. As IPL hair removal therapy eliminates the unwanted hair from the hair root to the tip, the DermaLase IPL device has proven to be a very effective long-term hair removal technique.

Cosmetic acupuncture is a non-invasive treatment that involves using acupuncture to improve skin and fight the aging process. ... Proponents claim that cosmetic acupuncture can help reduce wrinkles, diminish fine lines, remove age spots, and lift droopy eyelids.

On the face, the acupuncturist will insert 40 to 70 tiny and painless needles. As the needles puncture the skin, they create wounds within its threshold, which are called positive microtraumas. When your body senses these wounds, it goes into repair mode. This is the same idea microneedling uses to get bright, anti-aging results — except acupuncture is a bit less intense, averaging about 50 punctures. Microneedling applies hundreds of pricks through a rolling device.

These punctures stimulate your lymphatic and circulatory system, which work together to deliver nutrients and oxygen to your skin cells, nourishing skin from the inside out. This helps even out your complexion and promote your skin’s glow. The positive microtraumas also stimulates the production of collagen. This helps improve elasticity, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

What are the Benefits of Ear Candling?
Many patients experience ear candling benefits and find it helps prevent or relieve many common infections of the head and neck including sinus congestion, colds, the flu, sore throats, ear aches, ear infections, sinus infections, lymphatic congestion, swollen glands, snoring, balance and equilibrium issues, allergy symptoms, hearing difficulties, pain or pressure when flying, scuba diving or other elevation change discomfort.

How Does it Work?
The Healing Bridge in Calgary performs ear candling by inserting a hollow ear candle into the ear and lighting the wick at the opposite end. The heat from the flame creates a stimulating, soothing, warming effect in and around the ear.The result is the stimulation of lymphatic drainage in the entire head and neck region. The Eustachian tubes open and relax to allow pressure equalization and, as a result, the sinuses and lymph system are triggered to drain.

Is it Safe?
Our ear candling practitioners will ensure the candle wick is trimmed to ensure the candle flame is optimal. At The Healing Bridge, we also ensure no wax will drip onto the patient or is left behind in the ear canal. When removing any wax from the ear canal, we also ensure there is no damage to the tympanic membrane (ear drum).

If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

The end results are beautifully lifted lashes that mimics lashes that were curled with a lash curler. It opens up the eyes to make them look more refreshed and awake. Results can last 3-8 weeks depending on the aftercare and the clients natural lash growth cycle. The faster the natural lashes grow, the sooner the lash lift will grow out. To maintain neat and lifted lashes, the natural lashes will have to be re-lifted every 3-8 weeks.

This service is a great alternative to lash extensions! It requires less maintenance and the aftercare is simpler. Lash lifts also do not use the same ingredients as the products used in lash extensions, so it’s perfect for clients who want beautiful lashes but are allergic to lash extensions.

The Instant Lash Lift System is a revolutionary Health Canada registered Lash Lift & Tint system that provides a consistent lift and repairs the lash from inside out.
